The Hit List 1.1.1

  • Quick Entry with Context. You need to set a keyboard shortcut in the preferences window first

  • Added a menu item to open links in notes. Keyboard shortcut is "V". Shift-V to open in background.

Announcement

  • PowerPC Macs are no longer supported. With Apple's development tools having deprecated PowerPC support, it was hard to continue to support it.

New Features

  • Sync over the air with other copies of The Hit List running on Macs and iOS devices
  • You can now archive lists instead of tasks. Tasks in archived lists are not included in smart folders.
  • Today list's icon now shows today's date
  • Spotlight search support on Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) and higher
  • Added a preference to control when tasks get automatically hidden
  • Detect addresses and phone numbers when editing task notes
  • Control-tab and control-shift-tab now changes the current tab
  • New keyboard shortcuts for selecting the next and previous items in the source list: ⌥⌘[ and ⌥⌘]

  • New Safari extension that allows adding tasks from Safari. Text selection in Safari goes into the notes of the new task. Get it from here
  • Create tasks using URLs with 'thehitlist' scheme. See the README inside the Safari extension to see how this works
